TTEC in Sofia has formed a partnership with a local charity organisation called the “For Our Children” Foundation which provides professional and integrated social services to the most vulnerable children in Bulgaria.
The team of TTEC customer service associates has already been in training and completed a run last month raising an initial donation of €500. Used to usually providing customer service and resolving queries via online services such as email and social media, employees were brought “offline” and were instead tested on their running skills and ability to complete the 10k run.
The TTEC team in Sofia also participated in the foundation’s 2018 edition of “Challenge Summer in the Office” campaign. As part of that activity, the team played a game where the employees had to recognise each other in old summer photos. They also played different board games and held football tournaments.
The team is also planning to transform one of the conference rooms into a movie theatre for a series of in-house movies, as well as to host an origami workshop.
Maya Gindeva, Senior Specialist TA Marketing and Communications for EMEA said: "TTEC is passionate about raising money for local charities and ‘For Our Children’ Foundation is a particular charity organisation we want to help and support. I am delighted to see how creative and innovative our employees have been with their fundraising ideas”.
“It is an honour and a great pleasure for us to have such passionate supporters such as the employees of TTEC in Sofia,” said the Director of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications department at ‘For Our Children’ Foundation Galya Getzova.
“We are grateful for their dedication and for the trust they have in us. Together we will help more underprivileged children and their families living in difficult situations to stay together and be strong,” she added.
