Today is Veterans Day in the United States, which is also known as Remembrance Day, Armistice Day, and Poppy Day around the world. It's a day for honoring those who are serving, or have served, in the armed forces.
As this day approaches every year, I reflect on the sacrifices that our Armed Forces make. And look for ways to share my gratitude for their amazing service. This year, I'll attend our local Veterans Day parade to recognize and honor the Veterans and their families. I'm looking forward to it because it's something I've always marked down to go to over the years but haven't done. It seems to be the perfect way to spend time in my community and salute these heroes.
What are ways that you can take part in the Veterans Day celebrations near you? Perhaps you've wanted to donate to a veteran-related organization. It could also be investing your time as a volunteer is the best choice for you before the holiday season. It could even be as simple as giving everyone you see on Veterans Day a smile and a hello when you pass by to honor those that protect our freedom.

At TTEC, it has always been important to us-and particularly to our founder, Ken Tuchman-that we support those who have served in the Armed Forces around the world, especially veterans who are TTEC employees. On this day and every day, we salute our TTEC heroes, their families and loved loves.
